Vanessa Hudgens wears a Faith cap while heading to a gym with younger sister Stella on Wednesday (December 22) in Studio City, Calif.

The 22-year-old Sucker Punch actress tried to cover her face when she saw the paparazzi!

Earlier in the day, Van and Stella bumped into Ashley Tisdale while eating breakfast at Studio City Cafe.

Vanessa’s ex-boyfriend Zac Efron meanwhile grabbed a sandwich at Subway the same day.

Sadly, it’s true. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have gone their separate ways.

Sources confirm to JJJ that the duo, who met on the High School Musical set in 2005 and started dating shortly after that, have broken up but remain close friends.

“They’re still great friends and really close,” sources tell JustJaredJr.com.

Zac and Vanessa were spotted only two weeks before in Hawaii, celebrating Thanksgiving together.

teen choice awards the winners announced

The winners for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, which air tonight at 8 p.m. on Fox with hosts Katy Perry and the male stars of Glee, were announced yesterday by the network, after the ceremony was taped at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles. In total, 105 award winners were announced, spanning five major categories from movies and television to music and fashion. Vampires dominated the awards, as the Twilight movies (both New Moon and Eclipse) racked up 12 surf-board shaped trophies, while TV drama The Vampire Dairies took home seven. Twilight‘s Robert Pattison, country music sensation Taylor Swift, and pint-sized pop star Justin Bieber each took home four awards. Zac Efron Can Hold His Breath Longer Than You

Zac Efron shows off his beach bod as he prepares to film the dive and rescue scene in this new featurette from Charlie St. Cloud.

The 22-year-old actor shared in the video, “Underwater there’s this whole system — I think it’s how we communicate with whales (laughs). We can actually hear voices underwater. I don’t know how, it’s crazy. I hear enough voices outside the water, I don’t need to hear it while I’m swimming.”

Zac continued, “There’s a lot of tests that you don’t expect to have to deal with. I had to hold my breath for a really long time. I always kind of prided myself with breath holding contests, but when there are elements involved like swimming through murky water…getting a certain piece of the vest snagged, very precise movements and struggling…there’s a lot more oxygen you use and it’s hard to hold your breath. Not to mention the acting too!”
